We are a community of performing artists, practitioners, and researchers based in Canada who are devoted to mental performance and mental well-being in the arts.
Our Vision
We are committed to furthering mental readiness for optimal performance and well-being through facilitating knowledge sharing among performers, educators, practitioners, and researchers.
Our Mission
Mental Performance in the Arts Canada has three aims:
To provide resources to performing artists related to mental health and mental performance
To support practitioners and student-practitioners who work with artists
To help researchers share their findings with artists and practitioners
*Please note that network membership is open to practitioners and students of all backgrounds and disciplines. We do not verify or endorse any of our members. While we strongly encourage collaboration and communication between members, it is encouraged that members verify credentials before working with a professional practitioner.
